1. TrueRate Texas services

TrueRate Texas provides homeowner intelligence and decision-support tools, which may include Homeowner Pulse™, Homeowner Signal™, Texas Homeowner Intelligence™, Tex™, property-tax tools and workspaces, school-choice and education tools, member resources, document organization, and human support.

Features may differ by membership level, geography, data availability, service availability, and product development over time.

2. Informational and decision-support purpose

TrueRate Texas provides information, organization, analysis, planning support, and decision-support tools. Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, TrueRate Texas is not acting as your attorney, tax adviser, financial adviser, real-estate broker, appraisal district, school, government agency, or other licensed professional.

Information and recommendations may depend on third-party data, public records, user-provided information, estimates, or changing legal and market conditions. You remain responsible for verifying important facts, deadlines, eligibility requirements, filings, financial decisions, and other actions before relying on them.

3. Memberships and payment

Paid memberships become active only after successful checkout and entitlement processing. Prices, plan features, renewal terms, promotional offers, and any applicable checkout conditions are presented at or before purchase.

Promotional codes are subject to their stated eligibility, duration, availability, and checkout rules. A promotional code does not have value unless accepted by the checkout system for the applicable purchase.

4. Account and information responsibilities

You agree to provide reasonably accurate information and to use TrueRate Texas only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for maintaining control over access to your email, devices, member verification credentials, and any files or information you choose to upload.

You may not attempt to access another member’s records, bypass security controls, disrupt the service, scrape protected content, misuse Tex™, or use TrueRate Texas systems in a way that violates law or the rights of others.

5. SMS messaging terms

• Optional consent: SMS consent is separate, voluntary, and not required to register, purchase, become a member, or receive non-SMS services.
• Program content: Messages may concern registration, membership or account activity, homeowner tools, and customer-support requests.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your activity, requests, and account or support needs.
• Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: Reply STOP to cancel SMS messages.
• Help: Reply HELP for help or email support@trueratetexas.com.
• Carriers: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Mobile privacy: TrueRate Texas does not share, sell, rent, transfer, or provide mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in/consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• No third-party marketing: The SMS program does not use purchased contact lists, affiliate marketing, third-party lead generation, or consent obtained by another business.

TrueRate Texas may use telecommunications processors solely to transmit or administer messages on our behalf. Those processors are not permitted by TrueRate Texas to use your mobile information or SMS consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Member documents and resources

You may upload documents or other information to protected member workspaces where supported. You represent that you have the right to provide the material you upload. TrueRate Texas may establish reasonable technical limits, security controls, file-size limits, or storage practices to maintain service reliability and security.

TrueRate-published member resources are provided for member use and may not be republished, sold, or redistributed except with permission or as otherwise permitted by law.

7. Intellectual property

TrueRate Texas names, branding, site design, software, methodologies, original content, Homeowner Pulse™, Homeowner Signal™, Texas Homeowner Intelligence™, Tex™, and related materials are owned by TrueRate Texas or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of TrueRate Texas intellectual property to you.

8. Third-party services and data

TrueRate Texas may rely on or link to third-party data sources, payment providers, communications providers, maps, public records, government data, or other services. Third-party services may be unavailable, delayed, incomplete, changed, or subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, improve, suspend, replace, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, product development, data availability, or business operations.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to every feature or data source.

10. No guaranteed outcomes

TrueRate Texas does not guarantee tax savings, appraisal reductions, school admission, scholarship or education-funding awards, eligibility determinations, property values, financial outcomes, or any other specific result. Outcomes depend on facts, third parties, market conditions, government processes, deadlines, and decisions outside TrueRate Texas’s control.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, TrueRate Texas services are provided on an “as available” basis. We disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in a written agreement, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent those disclaimers are permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TrueRate Texas will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, reliance on information, third-party systems or data, communications delays, or unavailable services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use of TrueRate Texas after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
